Kilka słów o pracy:

Ilustracja z mojej serii Światy, inspirowana książką Diuna (Dune, Frank Herbert, 1965). Książki Franka Herberta to dla mnie głębokie źródło inspiracji, tak jak twory Ursuli Le Guin, Stanisława Lema czy Dana Simmonsa. Książki te od wielu lat wpływają na to jak i co rysuję. Serię Światy zapoczątkowałem ponieważ chciałem jakoś nadać życia wyobrażeniom które rozwijały się w mojej głowie po przeczytaniu każdej książki. W pracach tych próbuję uchwycić specyficzną atmosferę i to coś, co sprawia, że dany Świat / pejzaż jest nam na wiele sposobów bliski ale jednoczeście bardzo obcy. Druga praca w serii dostępna w sklepie to Gethen (The Left Hand of Darkness, Ursula Le Guin, 1969).

Kolejne prace w serii które jeszcze nie są skończone to jak narazie Rocannon’s World (Le Guin) oraz Regis III z powieści Stanisława Lema Niezwyciężony.

– Każdy druk jest sygnowany.
– Ilustracja drukowana wysokiej jakości pigmentami na papierze matowym 230g.
– Zamówienia w formatach większych niż A3 pakowane są w papier ochronny i podróżują w twardej tekturowej tubie. Prace w formacie A3 lub mniejszym są pakowane w papier ochronny oraz wysyłane w kopercie odpowiedniego rozmiaru. Oczywiście mogę połączyć zamówienia w jedną przesyłkę przy wyborze różnych plakatów lub rozmiarów. Wszystkie ilustracje / plakaty drukowane w Polsce.
– Sprzedaż bez ramy. Kolory mogą się minimalnie różnić w zależności od ustawień monitora.

Illustration from my series Worlds, inspired by the book Dune (Frank Herbert, 1965). Frank Herbert’s books are a deep source of ispiration for me, along with those by Ursua Le Guin, Stanisław Lem or Dan Simmons. The books have beeninfluencing what and how I draw and paint for years. I initially started the series Worlds because I wanted to somehow bring life to the scenes that developed in my mind after reading each book. In these works I’m trying to capture the specific atmosphere and the intangible quality that makes each World familiar but at the same time very alien to us. The other work in the series that’s available in the online shop is Gethen (The Left Hand of Darkness, Ursula Le Guin, 1969).

The forthcoming works in the series, so far, which are not yet finished are Rocannon’s World (Le Guin again) and Regis III from Stanisław Lem’s The Invincible.

– Each print is signed.
– This is a high quality print on 230g matte paper.
– Each order that includes prints that are larger than A3 is meticulously packed with protective paper and into a cardboard tube. A3 or smaller formats are packed with protective paper and sent in an envelope. Of course if you order multiple prints of varied sizes I will combine the order into one package. All illustrations / posters are printed in Poland.
– The print does not include a frame. The colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
